OK Fest August 1,2,&3

What is OK Fest?!

Since its opening in 1919, the OK Theatre has seen multiple owners, along with many changes to its facade and interior. The Brann family purchased the OK in 2014, and re-opened it primarily as a performing arts venue with an emphasis on live music. 2018 began the process of renovating the Theatre. The Branns worked to preserve certain historic details of the building, as well as add to others, with the artistic vision and help of Steve Arment. The Brann family is celebrating 10 years of ownership, welcoming back many of the excellent bands that first graced the OK stage,10 years ago: Brothers Brann, Joseph, and Zach Top. OK Theatre is also partnering with Wild Carrot, to celebrate the grand re-opening of its new space on Main Street. Saturday will highlight many vendors, local businesses, and artisans procured by Wild Carrot (a Maker’s Market) in order to share their talents and wares with the community of Wallowa County and beyond. Ticket purchasers for the entire event can expect 3 nights of music, with the climax of OK Fest being on Saturday. On Saturday, free events will include Saturday morning cartoons and Vali’s donuts at the OK starting at 8 a.m., a teen Smash Bros. competition, Wild Carrot’s Maker’s Market, and more fun events for kids in the Enterprise City Park. Free event lasts til 2pm when the street shuts down, and gates re-open for the ticketed event from 3-11 p.m., with some of the best band lineups in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Hope to see you there!
